This diffuser to be used with standard Butane&Propane Mixed Gas cylinder (600 ml or 330 g) wich has an universal thread 7/16” (11,1 mm).

After mixture being prepared, to pour it into the top diffuser’s transparent container. By thumb pressing on the pin-button the mixture has to be filled-in / pumped through the smoke pipe canal.
With the help of a rotary knob to open the valve of the gas cylinder up to some halfway. Then by using an ordinary lighter to light up a flame on the mesh. To wait a minute or two allowing to heat-up the spiral until it is become slightly red. Then, the gas regulation knob has to be turned almost to the minimum and we can proceed with our treatment.

Mixture’s preparation if using the amitraz: amitraz stirred with paraffin oil.
Mix 8-10 milliliters of amitraz (varidol) with 100 milliliters of paraffin oil. One (1) pin-button press is sufficient for one bee colony treatment. Or it is sufficient for about 60-70 colonies in total.
After treatment was completed after gas was closed, so that the flame gone out, to empty the mixture’s container contents back to the preparation vessel (it can be used next time).

It is of high importance that immediately after the treatment, while the diffuser is still hot, the gas fume pipe must be washed by passing the pure paraffin oil through. It should be done by pouring the pure paraffin oil into the very same container and by pressing the pin-button for a few times, until it is siphoned through the tube. This prevents the tube from becoming clogged, as amitraz crystallizes and it accumulates in the smoke pipe canal.

Mixture’s preparation if using the oxalic acid: oxalic acid dihidrate stirred in distilled water.
Mixing 35 grams of oxalic acid powder and 500 ml of warm distilled water (40°C temperature). The obtained solution to be poured into the diffusor’s  canister, and by presiing the pin-button to allow to fill the system. By using an ordinary lighter to light up a flame through the mesh. To wait a minute or two allowing to heat-up the spiral until it is slightly red. Then, the gas regulation knob has to be turned-out almost to a minimum and we can proceed with the treatment. But oxalic acid solution’s case requires 3 (three) pin-button’s pressures for each bee colony to treat.

After treatment was completed and gas was shut until flame goes-out, to empty the remaining container’s contents back to the preparation vessel (to keep for use next time). It is of high importance to do cleaning immediately after the treatment, while the diffuser is still hot. Use paraffin oil for that very purpose.
