Long service life (approx. 20 years): this hive lasts 2–3 times longer in comparison with traditional wooden hives. It weighs 15 kg – about 40% lighter than wooden equivalents.
It boasts excellent insulation properties: the hive walls provide excellent insulation which is equivalent to 19 cm of solid wood. It effectively stabilizes against ambient temperature fluctuations, maintains a favorable microclimate year-round. In summer, the internal temperature remains 5–6°C lower than outside temperature. It is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C and is UV-resistant.
